STORRS, Conn. (AP) — With campus celebrations winding down after two rowdy nights of post-championship partying, the University of Connecticut's off-court excitement could be just beginning.

In winning the men's and women's NCAA basketball championships this week, UConn's administration is looking far beyond the Gampel Pavilion sports arena for a payoff.

UConn President Susan Herbst says the titles are publicity that money can't buy. She says it's hard to quantify the effect the championships will have on donations and student applications, but she's sure they'll increase.

The Storrs campus was quiet Wednesday after championship celebrations the previous two nights. Another celebration is planned for the women's team later in the day.
