ST. LOUIS (AP) — Ryan Getzlaf scored his 25th goal, and rookie Frederik Andersen made 34 saves as the Anaheim Ducks got back to their winning ways with a 3-2 victory over the St. Louis Blues Saturday night. Barret Jackman and Jaden Schwartz scored third-period goals for St. Louis, which has lost back-to-back games in regulation for just the second time this season.

MANHATTAN, Kan. (AP) — Shane Southwell and Thomas Gipson scored 20 points apiece and Marcus Foster added 15 as Kansas State beat West Virginia 78-56 yesterday. Kansas State's lockdown defense continues to blossom as the Wildcats limited West Virginia to 32.7 percent shooting in Manhattan. KSU trailed for just 2:19 of the contest and led for the final 35 minutes.

LAWRENCE, Kan. (AP) — Naadir Tharpe scored 21 points for Kansas, and Frank Mason stripped Oklahoma State's Le'Bryan Nash as the final buzzer sounded to preserve the 15th-ranked Jayhawks' 80-78 victory over the ninth-ranked Cowboys yesterday. Joel Embiid added 13 points, 11 rebounds and eight blocks for the Jayhawks, who blew most of a 47-30 halftime lead before holding on at the finish.

COLUMBIA, Mo. (AP) — Jabari Brown tied a career high with 24 points and Johnathan Williams the Third grabbed 14 rebounds to help Missouri defeat Alabama 68-47 yesterday. The Tigers only led 31-30 at the break against the Crimson Tide, but opened the second half with a 14-4 run to create some breathing room in Columbia.
