ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) — Billy Butler had five hits and five RBIs last night as the Kansas City Royals routed the Los Angeles Angels 11-4. Jarrod Dyson, Salvador Perez and Alcides Escobar added run-scoring doubles for the Royals. Luis Mendoza picked up the win and Luke Hochevar earned the save for the Royals. Angels starter Joe Blanton remains winless after giving up seven runs in four-plus innings.

ST. LOUIS (AP) — Lance Lynn remained unbeaten at home as the St. Louis Cardinals topped the New York Mets 6-3 last night. Lynn improved to 6-1 on the season after allowing three runs in seven innings. Matt Holliday homered and Matt Carpenter drove in two runs for the Cardinals.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — The Kansas City Chiefs have signed third-round pick Knile Davis. The running back out of Arkansas was selected 96th overall in last month's draft. The Chiefs hope Davis can take some of the burden off Pro Bowl running back Jamaal Charles.

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (AP) — Top basketball prospect Andrew Wiggins is set to make his college choice public. Wiggins will sign a letter-of-intent at a private ceremony this afternoon in Huntington, W. Va. He previously narrowed his choices to Kansas, Kentucky, North Carolina and Florida State.
