LOS ANGELES (AP) — LaQuinton Ross' 3-pointer with 2 seconds left gave Ohio State a 73-70 win over Arizona in the NCAA West Regional semifinals. The Buckeyes top reserve scored 14 of his 17 points in the second half. Mark Lyons tied the game with his own 3-pointer with 21.8 seconds left for the last of his game-high 23 points.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Malcolm Armstead scored 18 points and Carl Hall added 16 points as Wichita State lead from start to finish in a 72-58 win LaSalle in the NCAA West Regioanl semifinals. The Shockers follow up their upset of top seed Gonzaga with their 29th win of the season to tie the school record for most victories.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Jamil Wilson scored 16 points and Vander Blue added 14 as Marquette built a double-digit lead in the first half and went on to a 71-61 win over Miami in the NCAA East Regional semifinals. The Golden Eagles held Miami to just 35 percent shooting to earn a spot in the Elite Eight for the first time since 2003.

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — Giants general manager Brian Sabean (SAY'-bee-an) and manager Bruce Bochy (BOH'-chee) has been given contract extensions through the 2016 season. Both had deals that were set to expire after the season. Under Sabean and Bochy, the Giants have won two of the last three World Series.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Phoenix scored five goals in a 6:40 span as part of a six-goal first period and went on to beat Nashville 7-4. The victory snapped a seven-game losing streak during which the Coyotes scored just eight times. Radim Vrbata (rah-DEEM' vuhr-BAH'-tuh) scored twice for Phoenix and added an assist.
