KHANTY-MANSIYSK, Russia (AP) — Gabriela Soukalova of the Czech Republic won the women's 7.5-kilometer sprint for her second biathlon World Cup victory on Thursday.

Soukalova, who took her first World Cup title in a sprint in Slovenia in December, shot clean to win the last sprint of the season in 21 minutes, 25.6 seconds.

Andrea Henkel also hit all the targets but finished 17.2 seconds behind for second. Fellow German Miriam Gossner missed one target and ran a penalty loop to finish 23.6 seconds behind the winner for third.

Tora Berger of Norway, winner of the overall and season sprint titles, won two sprints and had four more podium finishes in 10 sprints this season. She also helped Norway win the women's Nations Cup ahead of Germany and Russia.
