BALTIMORE (AP) — Joe Flacco completed 25 of 36 passes for 309 yards, tossing two TDs and running for another in leading the Baltimore Ravens to the AFC North title by clobbering the New York Giants 33-14. The defending Super Bowl champs have lost five of seven and are in danger of missing the playoffs with one week left in the regular season.

SEATTLE (AP) — The Seattle Seahawks clinched a playoff berth by routing the San Francisco 49ers 42-13 last night. Rookie quarterback Russell Wilson had his first four touchdown game for the Seahawks, who have scored a combined 150 points the last three games.

UNDATED (AP) — Indianapolis and Cincinnati also clinched playoff berths with victories yesterday. They join division champs Baltimore, New England, Houston and Denver as the six-team field for the AFC playoffs is set, though the matchups are yet to be determined.

PHOENIX (AP)— In the NBA, the L.A. Clippers extended their franchise record winning streak to 13 games by routing Phoenix 103-77, holding the Suns to 3-of-17 shooting from three-point land. Blake Griffin led the Clippers with 23 points and 11 rebounds.

CLEVELAND (AP) —Cleveland Indians fans got an early Christmas present as the Tribe landed free agent outfielder Nick Swisher to a four-year deal worth a reported $56 million. The 32-year-old Swisher spent four seasons with the New York Yankees and hit .272 with 24 homers and 93 RBIs this year.
