SEATTLE (AP) — The replacement officials played a major role in the Seattle Seahawks' 14-12 win over the Green Bay Packers on Monday. Russell Wilson threw a disputed 24-yard touchdown pass to Golden Tate on the game's final play before the TD was upheld on replay despite evidence to the contrary. Tate appeared to push off on the play, and M.D. Jennings looked like he initially intercepted the pass before Tate wrestled with Jennings for possession.

UNDATED (AP) — The New York Yankees lead the American League East by 1 ½ games over Baltimore following their 6-3 win at Minnesota and the Orioles' double-header split against Toronto. Andy Pettitte tossed six shutout innings and the Yankees hit four homers to add another half-game to their division lead. Adam Jones went 4-for-4 with a two-run homer in the Orioles' 4-1 victory in Game 1, but the Blue Jays used J.P. Arencibia's (ar-ehn-SEE'-bee-uhz) grand slam to beat the Birds 9-5 in the nightcap.

UNDATED (AP) — Chicago still tops the AL Central by one game over Detroit after both teams won on Monday. Adam Dunn's second homer of the night was a go-ahead, three-run blast with two out in the eighth inning of the White Sox's 5-4 comeback win against Cleveland. Justin Verlander improved to 16-8 by allowing two runs and nine hits over eight innings of the Tigers' 6-2 triumph over Kansas City.

UNDATED (AP) — The Texas Rangers beat Oakland 5-4 on Adrian Beltre's (BEHL'-trayz) RBI single in the bottom of the ninth. Beltre also tied the game with a two-run homer before the Rangers stretched their lead in the American League West to five games over the Athletics.

UNDATED (AP) — The St. Louis Cardinals knocked off Houston 6-1 on Monday to move 3 ½ games ahead of Milwaukee and Los Angeles for the second National League wild-card berth. Pete Kozma hit a two-run homer, Yadier Molina added a solo shot and Matt Holiday drove in a pair for the Cardinals. Lance Lynn allowed a run and five hits while striking out nine in seven innings to improve to 17-7.
