CHICAGO (FootballStL) -- Rams running back Steven Jackson will start against the Bears despite missing the entire week due to a groin injury.

On Thursday, Fisher said that a veteran player, such as Jackson, would not have to practice to be able to play on Sunday.

Jackson, who has acknowledged he has played through a much worse injury, will have Daryl Richardson as his backup.

For the fantasy owners, it is a toss up as to how much action Jackson gets considering the missed practice time and the injury.

The Bears star running back Matt Forte is not playing on Sunday due to an ankle injury.  Michael Bush will take his place.
