ST. LOUIS, Mo. (BaseballStL)  -- Michael Wacha will come off the disabled list and pitch Thursday against the Milwaukee Brewers, Mike Matheny announced Tuesday.

Wacha has been on the disabled list since June 22 with a stress reaction in his throwing shoulder.

He threw 34 pitches in a Double-A start Sunday and is expected to be on a limit of 50-60 pitches Thursday in Milwaukee, Matheny said.
