(HockeyStL) – Chris Stewart can more than hold his own in a fight and he proved it in a long first period bout with Blackhawks forward Brandon Bollig.
Bollig initiated the fight with Stewart after skating onto the ice from the bench. He appeared to seek out Stewart and from there the two dropped the gloves.
There wasn’t a clear-cut winner in the brawl, but Stewart appeared to land more punches than Bollig before both players decided to end the fight.
At the conclusion of the scuffle, both players patted each other in a way of saying “good fight.”
Stewart had an ice bag placed on his hand as he sat in the penalty box, but would return to the game.
