(BaseballStL) -- Who wins the World Series? I don't know. Don't know what to think anymore. Not after the Cardinals did the impossible and erased a ten and a half game deficit with five weeks to play.

Not after the Cardinals did the highly unlikely and beat Cliff Lee in Game 2 of the N.L.D.S. Lee had been 94-1 in his career pitching with a four run lead as he had in that game.

Not after the Cardinals did the really unlikley--beating the Brewers without a "quality start" in any of their six games.

Not after the Cardinals scored 30 runs in three games at Miller Park where the Brewers were 57 and 24 in the regular season.

You see where I'm going here? I think the Rangers might be the most loaded team in baseball. They may not have the Phillies pitching staff but they have a filthy, nasty line up that can score any way possible.

Normally, I'd say the Rangers are the favorites but the Cardinals have come too far and overcome too much. It's not a destiny pick.

I don't believe destiny, fate, karma etc. have anything to do with outcomes in sports. But there's something going on with this Cardinals team.

I'm not going to pick against them again. I'll take the team with home field advantage to win in seven games.

If I'm right, we'll be talking about the 2011 Cardinals for the rest of our lives.
