SEATTLE, Wa. (KMOV) -- Another 60 minute battle by the Rams. A disappointing but not discouraging outcome.
The offensive line gave us a glimpse of what Sam Bradford can do if given time. He was cool and collected in the pocket. With a few more resources at his disposal in 2013, he will be deadly.
The Rams defense handcuffed a team that had scored 150 points in the previous three games. They recorded six sacks but would have had eight or 10 if not for Russell Wilson's athleticism. Wilson's elusiveness bailed out Seattle. It was the difference in the game.
The Seahawks finish 8-0 at home. They beat the Cardinals by 58 here and the 49ers by 29 here. There may not be moral victories in the NFL, but losing at the wire here is nothing to be ashamed of.
One final note -- I can't tell you how easy Jeff Fisher is for me and D'Marco Farr. The guy is great to work with. It was a fun season in and out of the booth. Can't wait to see how he and Les Snead improve the team in the offseason.
Rams fans, your team is relevant again.
