ST. LOUIS (FootballStL) -- If there is one thing keeping the Rams out of the playoff picture it would be the AFC East.

It hasn’t been a successful season when facing the division, but the Rams can rebound with a win against the Bills on Sunday.  The Rams have not beaten an AFC East foe in three games this season and have been outscored 34-89 in those games.

“They’ve just scored more points than we have in each game, but we’re very much aware of that statistic,” Fisher said.

Despite the lack of success this season, Fisher also said his team has only one thing in mind, the Bills.

“Our focus is on this team, so those things mean nothing,” Fisher added.  “They’re not going to think about that when the ball is kicked off or when they’re playing.  They’re going to think about their opponent, so that’s where you focus.”

The Rams had its chances against the Dolphins in a 17-14 loss in Miami, but couldn’t cap a comeback late to win it in Week 6.  Zuerlein missed three field goals, including a 66-yard attempt to tie it with time running out.  He also missed 52-yard and 37-yard field goal attempts.

The Patriots then pummeled the Rams 45-7 in London in Week 8 despite striking first with a Sam Bradford 50-yard touchdown pass to Chris Givens on the first drive of the game.

The Rams were then beaten by a drama-filled Jets team 27-13 at home in Week 11.  It was a game the Rams should have won, but Mark Sanchez outperformed a struggling Sam Bradford.

The final chance for a victory against the AFC East will come this Sunday at noon in Buffalo.
