ST. LOUIS (KMOV) – Two weeks after being benched for violating team rules, Rams cornerback Janoris Jenkins had the game of his life, returning two interceptions for touchdowns in a 31-17 win over the Arizona Cardinals.
Jenkins on Wednesday was rewarded for the performance, as he was named the NFC defensive player of the week for Week 12.
Jenkins’ first pick-six in the second quarter put the first points on the board for the Rams Sunday, and his second extended their lead to 11 in the third quarter.
The interceptions helped end a five-game losing streak for the Rams, who had not won since the first week of October.
He now has three picks on the year overall.
