(FOOTBALL STL) -- A Rams offensive line that was rattled by injuries last season, is healthy and on the mend for 2013.

Center Scott Wells is recovering from knee surgery, while Guard Harvey Dahl is working back from a torn biceps. Both Wells and Dahl appear ready to begin the season at full strength. The addition of free agent left tackle Jake Long, forced Rodger Saffold to right tackle. Though he's experienced some growing pains in the transition, Saffold is settling in on the right side after spending his first 3 years at left tackle.

The biggest question heading into Thursday's preseason game with Cleveland, is who will win the battle at left guard between Shelley Smith and Chris Williams. 3rd year man Joe Barksdale is currently backing up both interior guard positions.

"They're coming together", said Head Coach Jeff Fisher. "We're alternating the left guard spot everyday and its coming together. " I m sure Cleveland's going to have a lot to prove in the first preseason game."
