(BaseballStL) -- It is not an accident Stephen Piscotty continues to find himself in the starting lineup.
When you're this late in spring and still starting (alongside all the regulars) that tells you something.

Piscotty is going to be on this team at some point in 2014, though probably not right out of camp. Shane Robinson will likely be on the club to start the year.
But it shouldn't be too long before we see Piscotty in St. Louis. He's been everything the Cardinals hoped Oscar Taveras would be in camp and more. The converted third baseman is hitting .346 in spring training with a .438 on-base percentage.
Possibly even more impressive is the fact he's been stellar in right field. Piscotty has made several diving catches and looked like someone who's played out there for years and not just a season.
He's going to play a lot in the majors very soon. Maybe sooner than you think.
