ST. LOUIS (HockeyStL) – The St. Louis Blues have re-signed forward David Perron to a four-year deal, the team announced on Thursday.
Perron recorded 42 points (21 goals, 21 assists) in 57 games this season after missing the majority of the 2010-2011 season and 25 games this season with concussion symptoms. The deal is reportedly worth $15.25 million.
“Agreed to a 4 year deal with the Blues. Couldn't be happier to be back in St Louis!!! Can't wait to start training camp in september :)))” Perron tweeted after the announcement.
The 24-year-old forward has tallied 173 points (74 goals, 99 assists) in 292 games played over his five-year career with the Blues.
