(KMOV.com) -- The NCAA announced the bracket for the Men’s soccer tournament on Monday and Saint Louis University was left out of the party.

The Billikens won the Atlantic 10 conference regular season title, but lost the conference tournament championship game 1-0 to George Mason on Sunday.

The winner of the conference tournament gets an automatic bid to the NCAA tournament.

After the game, SLU head coach Mike McGinty remained confident his Billikens would receive an at-large bid. “I think we have had a great year and have a strong body of work,” McGinty said. “We are No. 1 in our region and didn’t lose during the conference season. It is now in the hands of the committee.”

The NCAA selection committee didn’t include the Billikens in the 48 team field.

The Bills finished the season with a record of 14-5-2, and were ranked 26 in the most recent poll. But, due to a soft schedule, their RPI ranking was 51.

UCLA is the number one overall seed.
