COLUMBIA, Mo. (Missouri Football App) -- The Missouri Tigers are currently unranked and sit at a respectable 2-2 record but currently have the toughest strength-of-schedule in all of college football.  Yes, we’re just four games into the season, but many teams who are 4-0 or 3-1 haven’t had as tough a schedule as Mizzou.

According to teamrankings.com, Mizzou has statistically played some of the toughest opponents in the country.  This website uses statistical analysis to rank teams in many different sports over many different categories.

This website ranks Georgia as 5th best, Arizona State as 32nd best and South Carolina as 9th best in the nation.  All together, Missouri has played several of college football’s statistically best teams and should be taken into consideration when considering how good or bad Mizzou actually is.

So for the fans that think Mizzou’s chances are over, that very well could be true, but if you’re basing it off of their record, just know that’s it’s the toughest in the nation.  Unfortunately, it doesn’t get any easier in the SEC.  Mizzou will face the likes of Alabama and Tennessee in the coming months too.
