WASHINGTON, D.C. (BaseballStL) -- Cardinals shortstop Pete Kozma continued his impressive start to his big league career by smacking a three-run home run in Game Three Wednesday.
The home run gave the Cardinals a 4-0 lead over the Nationals in the second inning. In Game One, Kozma made a critical error in the 2-1 loss at Busch Stadium.
Kozma went deep twice in 26 regular season games since being called-up from Triple-A Memphis for the Cardinals.
