ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) -- Rams rookies Janoris Jenkins and Chris Givens missed Sunday’s game at San Francisco after being suspended by Head Coach Jeff Fisher for violating team policies. The Rams haven’t revealed what they did to deserve the one game suspension. Both Jenkins and Givens say they have apologized to their teammates, and vow that it won’t happen again.

“When you come out here and you’re having fun playing with these guys”, said Jenkins, “you look to your right and your left, and these are the guys you’re going to go to war with, you can’t do nothing like that”.

Givens said “it was very difficult being that I let everyone in the organization down. It’s just not the type of image I want to have, and not the type of way I want to portray my team. I feel terrible about the mistake I made, and it won’t happen again”.

Fisher was asked after today’s practice if Jenkins and Givens will return their starting roles this Sunday in the game against the New York Jets. Fisher would only say that they will play. He did not say if they would start.
