(HockeyStL) -- Blues defenseman Barret Jackman reached an impressive milestone after playing in his 600th career NHL game on Monday.

Jackman has played all 600 games as a member of the Blues and is ninth in team history in terms of games played.  He trails only Bob Plager (644), Barclay Plager (614) and Al MacInnis (613) in games played as a Blues defenseman.

Jackman is the only player in franchise history to win the Calder Memorial Trophy which is given to the most proficient player in his first year at the NHL level.

The 31-year-old defenseman was selected 17th overall in the 1999 NHL Draft.  Only 12 players from the 1999 draft class have played more games than Jackman.
