ST. LOUIS (BaseballStL) -- Matt Holliday will start in left field in the series-opener against the Chicago White Sox on Tuesday after sitting the previous two games due to a back injury.

According to the team's Twitter account, Holliday will hit third in the batting order behind catcher Yadier Molina, who is batting second for the first time this season.

Molina leads the Cardinals with a .330 batting average this season.  Holliday was 12-for-38 with seven walks in his previous ten games before sitting the last two games.
