ST. LOUIS (FootballStL) -- It was only two weeks ago that Rams wide receiver Chris Givens and cornerback Janoris Jenkins found themselves in the doghouse for violating team rules.
In Sunday’s 31-17 win over the Cardinals, both players found themselves as the reasons why the team was victorious.
Givens was targeted a team-high six times and caught five passes for 115 yards and a touchdown. Jenkins returned two interceptions for touchdowns. It was a far cry from being kept out of a 24-24 tie to the 49ers on November 11.
“The issue has been put aside,” Jeff Fisher said. “I don’t think the issue had anything to do with their production prior to them being sat down. They both have room for considerable improvement, both of them, as an overall contributor.”
Fisher told reporters that as good as Jenkins’ two pick-sixes were, there are other things in his game that he needs to improve on.
