(Missouri Football App) – Missouri’s top recruiting target, Ezekiel Elliot, committed to Ohio State Wednesday.
The four-star running back out of St. Louis had originally verbally committed to the Buckeyes in April of 2012, but had not signed; opting instead for a late-January visit to Columbia.
Elliot attended the Vanderbilt game, and despite a warm reception from the student body, opted for Columbus.
Elliott is six feet tall, 205 pounds and runs a 4.42 40-yard dash. Ranked 109th in the ESPN 150 and 11th at his position, the John Burroughs High School star received offers from top flight schools in the Big 10, SEC and Big 12, though only visited Mizzou and Ohio State.
