(HockeyStL) – After sitting out the first two games as ‘healthy scratches,’ Blues forwards Matt D’Agostini and Jamie Langebrunner suited-up for the first time this season.
It was a much-needed move for the Blues as the team had played the night before and Tuesday marked the third game in four days. As a result, Ryan Reaves and Scott Nichol were scratched from Tuesday night’s game against the Blackhawks.
Both players were key to the Blues 4-3 shootout victory over the Predators on Monday. In a limited action, the line of Vladimir Sobotka-Nichol-Reaves played very well despite recording zero points.
D’Agostini recorded two shots and a hit in eight minutes and 49 seconds of ice time. Langenbrunner recorded two hits in nine minutes and 35 seconds of action.
