(BaseballStL) – Ladies and gentlemen, this last week Allen Craig has made it back to his normal self, or at least the self the Cardinals were accustomed to when they offered him a 5-year, $31 million contract last season.

Over the last seven games, Craig has 10 hits and two homers for a .345 average and a .483 slugging percentage.

That percentage is .200 points higher than what he hit in the month of April. No, you read that right, it's 200 points higher! He’s also amassed 10 RBIs during that time, as well.

Welcome back, Master Allen. I’m positive Torty Craig would agree.

And with Matt Adams battling a calf strain, the Redbirds need the offensive boost from their clean-up spot that has wavered between the two hitters.
