ST. LOUIS (BaseballStL) – It’s set.  The Cardinals will play the Braves in the wild-card play-in game on Friday.

In six games this season, the Cardinals beat the Braves only once and were outscored 32-40.  The last time the teams faced each other took place in Atlanta, the site of Friday’s game, on May 28-30.

Kyle Lohse, who was unimpressive in his only start against the Braves this season, will get the start on Friday, manager Mike Matheny said early Wednesday morning .  He allowed five earned runs, two home runs and nine hits against the Braves on May 30, the last time the teams played each other.
