(BaseballStL) – The fall house cleaning is in full swing for the Cardinals as several more members of the 2013 roster are no longer with the club.

Adron Chambers, Brock Peterson and Rob Johnson were outrighted by the Cardinals Tuesday, and all three elected free agency. They join agrowing list of free agents which includes Chris Carpenter, Carlos Beltran, Jake Westbrook, Rafael Furcal, and Edward Mujica.

Of the newest three, only Johnson was arbitration eligible.

The Cardinals also activated Jason Motte from the 60-day disabled list, moving their 40 man roster count to 37.

With the release of Johnson, the Cardinals have five arbitration eligible players remaining in John Axford, David Freese, Jon Jay, Daniel Descalso and Fernando Salas.
