(BaseballStL) - Charlie Morton is looking for his first win of the season for the Pitttsburgh Pirates, but he might not get that against Cardinal batters. As a team, the Redbirds are hitting .372 in 113 at-bats.

Matt Holliday has a homer and Allen Craig has 9 hits in 18 at-bats.

The Cards will need that offense in order to avoid the sweep against the rival Bucs. The Redbirds counter with Shelby Miller who took a 1-0 loss the last time he faced the Pirates.

Getting even

With Saturday night's loss, the Cards fell to one game below .500 with a record of 18-19. They sit 5.5 games behind the NL Central leading Milwaukee Brewers and only a 0.5 ahead of the Cincinnati Reds.

The Reds just completed a sweep of the Colorado Rockies this weekend.

The Bucs could pull within a 0.5 game with a win against the Cards on Sunday.

Garcia's rehab continues

Lefty Jaime Garcia continues his rehab Monday in Double-A Springfield, according to MLB.com's Jen Langosch, and then head to Triple-A Memphis for his following start.

In his debut last week, Garcia gave up 3 hits in 2.0 innings work and 2 runs.
