ST. LOUIS (FootballStL) -- Sam Bradford has found himself in the whispers of the disgruntled fan’s voice in recent weeks, but he showed moderate improvement against the 49ers on Sunday.
Bradford was 26-for-39 passing with 221 yards in the 16-13 win.
It almost started out horribly for Bradford after his first pass attempt of the game found the arms of 49ers linebacker Ahmad Brooks. Thankfully for Bradford, Brooks was unable to make the catch.
The Rams offense still sputtered on Sunday, but it was bailed out by the defense which recorded its third touchdown in the last two games.
The Rams offense was carried by the legs of Bradford late in the win. He rushed for 31 yards on three attempts to move the Rams into position to kick a game-tying field goal.
Bradford showed more consistency than he has in recent weeks. He was 8-for-17 for 205 yards against the Cardinals last week and 23-for-44 for 170 yards the previous week against the Jets.
