(HockeyStL) -- St. Louis Blues forward David Backes will play in his 400th career game with the Blues against the Detroit Red Wings on Tuesday.

Backes joins Chris Pronger, Jamal Mayers, Bryce Salvadore, Jay McClement and Barret Jackman as the only active players to play in 400 games for the Blues.

Backes, 27, has 242 points (113 goals and 129 assists) in 399 games with the Blues.

This season, he has 24 points (11 goals, 13 assists) with a plus-nine rating in 35 games played.

Backes was drafted in the second round of the 2003 NHL Draft by the Blues.
