(HockeyStL) -- St. Louis Blues forward T.J. Oshie left the second period of Tuesday’s game against the San Jose Sharks with an upper-body injury.

It appeared Oshie was injured after making a check along the boards and was taken to the locker room with trainers a short time later. He was also recently shaken up after being hit in a game against the Sharks in San Jose on Saturday.

The Blues are already playing without forwards Alex Steen, Andy McDonald and Vladimir Tarasenko due to injuries.

The team announced on its Twitter account that Oshie is considered “day-to-day” and is doubtful to play Thursday against the Phoenix Coyotes.

This season, Oshie has posted 17 points (five goals, 12 assists) with a minus-six rating in 26 games played.
