(HockeyStL) -- The St. Louis Blues beat the Nashville Predators 4-3 for a shootout victory. Below are interesting tidbits from the game:
- Blues defenseman Barret Jackman played his 600th career NHL game on Monday. Only 12 players from the 1999 NHL Draft class have played more games than Jackman.
- The Blues pulled Jaroslav Halak in the second period after stopping only eight of eleven shots. The last time Halak was pulled from a game was on February 9, 2012. He allowed three goals on 12 shots in an eventual 4-3 shootout victory against the Devils.
- Carrie Underwood was in attendance to watch her husband and Predators forward Mike Fisher play. Fisher scored a power play goal and recorded an assist. He also led all Predator forwards in total ice time (23:29). Underwood did not sing.
- On this date last year, the Blues beat the Sabres 4-2 at the Scottrade Center. It was the team’s fourth straight win and game No. 47 on the schedule. It was game No. 2 this year.
