ST. LOUIS (FootballStL) -- You could almost feel the wind being sucked out of the Edward Jones Dome when Adrian Peterson scored an 82-yard touchdown right after the Rams scored to tie the game early in the second quarter.
The Rams would turn the ball over on the next two possessions, including an interception returned for a touchdown. The Vikings scored ten points off the two turnovers in the second quarter.
The second quarter was miserable for the Rams. Despite starting the quarter with a touchdown, the Rams allowed 23 points and 111 yards rushing on five carries to Peterson. The Vikings only had six minutes and 17 seconds of possession in the quarter.
