PHOENIX (FootballStL) -- It was a surprise to many that Danny Amendola was active for Sunday’s game, but it came as no surprise that his action was limited.
Amendola suffered a foot injury in the 27-13 loss to the Jets last week and was listed as doubtful on Friday after sitting out the entire week of practice.
The Rams leading receiver caught one pass for 38 yards in the limited action. It was the only pass thrown to him in the game.
Amendola was able to rest with the Rams ahead for most of the second half of Sunday’s 31-17 victory over the Cardinals. He was noticeably limping throughout the game.
