Scene of Protests
FERGUSON, Mo. (KMOV.com staff) – Police have begun using rubber bullets in an effort to control the crowds gathering in Ferguson Sunday night.
News 4’s Chris Stanford said he was alerted by another reporter saying he had been hit by a rubber bullet in the neck, but that information has not yet been confirmed by police.
Before firing the rubber bullets, police alerted demonstrators on West Florissant to get out of the road, warning them that if they did not disperse, they would be arrested. Shortly after the warning, authorities began shooting rubber bullets into the crowd.
