ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) – Thursday night, a nationwide moment of silence will be held at 6:20 p.m. in honor of victims of police brutality.

The movement comes five days after 18-year-old Michael Brown was killed by a police officer in Ferguson, Missouri.

The moment of silence for St. Louis will be held at the Gateway Arch.

Organizers are asking people to wear a red ribbon, cloth or bandana on your right arm at the vigils.
