(KMOV.com) – In March, an expert told News 4 that the St. Louis area could see a rise in violent crime during the summer.
James Clark of Better Family Life told News 4 he was fearful about what might take place during the summer.
“We are dealing with an active group where violence is part of their culture,” Clark said.
Clark also said he was fearful that the rise in violent crimes being shared online could fuel the fire and youth violence would rise to same levels that it was at in the summer of 1993.
“I advise parents to take their children off of social media during the spring and summer. A lot of violence is hatched on Social Media,” Clark said.
