FERGUSON, Mo. (KMOV.com) – Crews were working to put fences around two QuikTrip’s in the Ferguson, Missouri area Monday afternoon.
Mike Thornbrugh, with QuikTrip media relations, said barricades were put up around the damaged areas after a QuikTrip on W. Florissant was looted and set on fire last Sunday night.
“We put a fence up around the damaged area last week. And we put up cement barricades for vehicles to control access. We really haven’t had an opportunity to get out there for much else,” Thornbrugh said.
Crews were also putting a fence around a QuikTrip a few miles away located on W. Florissant and Somerset Terrace. A Spokesperson for QuikTrip told News 4 the store was shut down last week and is being barricaded as a precaution.
