Scenarios for spots in the Big 12 men's tournament

Regardless of what strangeness happens this weekend, Kansas will be the top seed in the Phillips 66 Big 12 Men's Basketball Championship.

And the bottom teams in the bracket are pretty well confirmed.

The biggest mystery involves the Nos. 2-7 spots in the tournament. The Big 12 has outlined 13 possible scenarios

Here's the breakdown:

No. 1 seed – Kansas; No. 8 seed – Nebraska; No. 9 seed –Baylor; No. 12 seed –Colorado

•The winner of Iowa State and Texas Tech is the No. 10 seed. The loser is the No. 11 seed.

•If Missouri and Oklahoma win: Missouri No. 2, Oklahoma No. 3.

•If Missouri and Oklahoma lose: Missouri No. 2, Oklahoma No. 3.

•If Missouri wins and Oklahoma loses: Missouri No. 2, Oklahoma No. 3.

•If Missouri loses and Oklahoma wins: Oklahoma No. 2, Missouri No. 3.

•If Texas and Oklahoma State win: Texas No. 4, Oklahoma State No. 5.

•If Texas and Oklahoma State lose and Kansas State and A&M win: Kansas State No. 4, Texas No. 5, A&M No. 6, Oklahoma State No. 7.

•If Texas, OSU and A&M lose and Kansas State wins: Kansas State No. 4, Texas No. 5, Oklahoma State No. 6.
