A St. Charles County man has been sentenced to life in prison without parole for a 2006 shooting spree that killed a woman and injured two other people, including a police officer.
Bryan Tullock of St. Peters was sentenced Thursday after pleading guilty to first-degree murder, assault and other charges.
The incident happened after a mid-Missouri traffic stop. Authorities say Tullock shot Montgomery City officer Brandon LyBarger, who was wearing a bulletproof vest, then drove to a mobile home where he killed 32-year-old Heidi Casagrand and wounded another woman, Ricky Fry. Prosecutors described both women as friends of Tullock's former girlfriend.
