The St. Louis Area Major Case Squad is investigating the death of a woman whose body was found in Cuivre River State Park in Lincoln County.

The victim is identified as 28-year-old Nicole Tayon of Winfield. Her body was found Wednesday afternoon. Police are not confirming any arrests, but witnesses say authorities looked extensively at a truck parked near where the body was found.

An autopsy is planned as authorities try to determine a cause of death.
