Officials say a plane has rolled off the taxiway after landing at Midway Airport.
Chicago Department of Aviation spokesman Gregg Cunningham says no one was injured in the incident, which occurred Friday around 7:20 p.m.
Cunningham says Southwest Airlines flight 2959 from St. Louis landed safely on a runway. But as it taxied to the gate, the plane took a sharp turn and became stuck in a position where it couldn't move on its own power.
Cunningham says a tug vehicle pushed the plane back onto the taxiway. It got to the gate under its own power at 7:45 p.m.
The plane was not damaged.
