St. Louis (KMOV) -- This week, Sauce Magazine's Catherine Neville shows how St. Charles chef De Orr takes great care in pairing his menu to wine.

 

Wine lovers have found a place for super sipping at the Vine Restaurant in St. Charles.

 

Located on Main Street in St. Charles, the Vine is the kind of place where you can while away an evening.

 

The Vine has about 125 wines available, roughly 20 by the glass, plus monthly wine flights that introduce diners to wine from around the world.

 

In July, the flight is a Riesling, Pinot Gris and a Bordeaux. 

 

The entire menu at the Vine is meant to be wine friendly, and ranges from delicate crepes to hearty offerings like the chipotle-barbecue duck.

 

Wine even extends to dessert. The Vine carries a new line of wine sorbet, and only those over 21 can indulge in this creamy treat.
