St. Louis, MO (KMOV) - Mosaic was one of the first restaurants to make inroads on the Washington Avenue strip in downtown St. Louis.

In this week's Sauce on the Street, Sauce Magazine's Catherine Neville shows us what will be served up at Mosaic's new digs on Washington Avenue.

Offering a modern fusion of global flavors and cooking styles, this is a fashionable place to graze.

Luxe, high end ingredients can be found on the plates at Mosaic, like the lobster salad, with guacamole and oranges.

And comfort food classics are given a twist.

Here, ribs are rubbed with espresso and cardamon and served alongside a kimchi slaw.

Another shot of Asian flavor is found with the ponzu-glased sea bass with bok choy.

But remember, Mosaic's food pulls flavors from around the world.

A classic Italian risotto is given a Creole kick with the addition of crawfish.

And to finish the meal, a rich French dessert of chocolate pot de crème.
