St. Louis, MO (KMOV) - In this week's Sauce on the Street, Sauce Magazine's Catherine Neville takes us to the Hill to show us how they cook up some traditional St. Louis sandwiches.

 

These days, it seems that restaurant menus change practically every day.

 

But there are some places that are keeping with tradition, serving up St. Louis favorites that have withstood the test of time.

While you can enjoy a deli sandwich, like the Special, or pasta dishes, like their baked ravioli, this is the place to come for freshly made salsiccia piled onto huge sandwiches.

 

The Daddy combines their salsiccia with meatballs and red sauce and the Chicago finds the salsiccia on a bed of hot pepper cheese and roast beef.

 

And for the granddaddy of them all, get the Godfather, roast beef, pepper cheese, gravy, salami and Eovaldi's salsiccia.
