St. Louis, MO (KMOV) - Cielo is Italian for sky.
Sauce Magazine’s Catherine Neville takes us up to the 8th floor of the new Four Seasons Hotel on Laclede's Landing to show us that Cielo also means great Italian food.
Cielo offers diners simple, sophisticated Italian food in a sophisticated, refined setting.

Executive Chef Karen Hoffman promises customers the freshest seasonal ingredients in her Italian cuisine.
Cielo offers breakfast and lunch, but if you're in for dinner, start off with the beet salad with fresh ricotta salata. For your second course, indulge in Hoffman's Gnocchi, where little pillows of potato mingle with tomato and basil.
Third course choices include slow-baked organic salmon with polenta gratin, wild mushrooms, speck and pickled tomato.
But if you're a fan of lamb, do not miss the rack of lamb and braised lamb shank with artichokes, tomato and white beans.
Without question, the Semi-Freddo, a frozen dessert studded with candied fruit and nuts, is a fitting way to end your elegant meal at Cielo.
