St. Louis, MO (KMOV) - Looking for some pizza inspired by styles from around the country, head to the Delmar loop.

Sauce Magazine's Catherine Neville takes us inside the kitchen at Pi for this week's Sauce on the Street.

Pizza is the star here at Pi, but to get your meal off to a good start, try the savory Fontina Bites or the sweet and tangy K2 salad.

As far as the pizza, the deep dish pie has a corn meal crust that is not at all heavy.

It's light and crunchy, a style of pizza that co-owner Chris Sommers fell in love with when he lived in San Francisco.

Choose the Western Addition, where ricotta and feta are blended with spinach and paired with mushrooms and onions, or the South Side Classico, a savory pie full of sausage, mushrooms and green peppers.

Pi offers thin crust pizza as well, their thin crust isn't crackery.

It's crispy, without being too brittle.

One of my favorites is the Lincoln Park, a vegetarian pizza topped with feta cheese.

But don't look for the sauce on this one.

Another thin crust pizza to try is the savory East Loop pie with pesto and roasted chicken.

There's even pizza for dessert.

Their apple pie is made with the same crust as their deep dish pizzas.
