St. Louis, MO (KMOV) - Sauce magazine's Catherine Neville shows us creative ways to top a pizza in this week's sauce on the street.
St. Louisans love pizza so much that there's even a style of pizza named for our fair city.
St. Louis style pizza is actually based on a Neapolitan style pie, and that's just the kind of pizza you'll find at Katie's Pizzeria Cafe in Clayton.

The difference is in the dough.
Katie tops her pizzas with unusual ingredients that might sound a little odd, but compliment each other beautifully.
Her fennel sausage pizza is accented with fennel, fontina and pine nuts.
The shrimp pizza gets a touch of pesto and sweetness from grape tomatoes.
One of Catherine’s favorites is the fingerling potato pizza.
But it's not just pizza that benefits from Katie’s restrained-yet-creative approach to Italian food.
Start your meal off a salad, like one with fried artichokes, or try her twist on toasted ravioli made with gorgonzola and artichoke.
